Terms of service
Last updated 6 October 2026
1. These terms
Interstellar War: Fleet Battles (the game) is provided by Bito Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 09492453), registered office Prince Of Wales House, 18/19 Salmon Fields Business Village, Royton, Oldham, OL2 6HT, United Kingdom (we, us). By signing in you agree to these terms and confirm that you have read the privacy notice. If you do not agree, do not sign in.
2. Who can play
You must be at least 13. If you are under 18, you need the permission of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf.
3. The game is in testing
The game is unfinished and is offered for testing. It will have faults. It may be unavailable, slow or changed without notice. We may reset the game world, which removes ships, credits, cargo and other progress, and we do not owe anything for progress that is lost. Access during testing may be limited to invited players and can be withdrawn.
4. Your account
- Your account is tied to the Google account, Discord account or email address you sign in with. You are responsible for keeping that secure, and for what is done with your account.
- One person, one account, unless we have agreed otherwise. Do not share, sell or transfer an account.
- Your callsign must not impersonate anyone, including us, and must not be offensive. We may change or remove a callsign that breaks this.
5. How you play
You must not:
- cheat, including with a modified client, injected scripts or tools that automate play outside the game's own automation;
- deliberately use a bug or exploit to gain an advantage. Report it instead;
- attack, probe, overload or try to get unauthorised access to the game, its servers or other players' accounts;
- harass, threaten or abuse other players, or post hateful, sexual, illegal or infringing content;
- spam, advertise, or trade game items or credits for real money;
- collect other players' data.
Fighting, trading, betraying and outplaying other players inside the game's rules is the game. Following a player out of it to harass them is not.
6. Game items and credits
Ships, cargo, credits and everything else in the game have no real-world value. They are not your property, cannot be exchanged for money and may be changed, rebalanced or removed. Nothing in the game is for sale. If we introduce anything paid, it will come with its own terms, shown to you before you pay.
7. What you write
You keep the rights to the mail and chat you write. You give us a licence to store, transmit and display it so the game can deliver it. We may remove content and read what is reported to us to act on a report. Do not write anything you do not have the right to share.
If you send us feedback, bug reports or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.
8. Suspension and ending
We may warn, suspend or ban an account that breaks these terms, or where we need to protect other players or the game. You can stop playing at any time and ask us to delete your account as the privacy notice describes. We may end the testing programme or the game at any time.
9. Our rights
The game, its software, art, music, writing and world belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us. Third-party work used under licence is credited in the game. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to play, nothing more. You may stream and record your play.
10. Liability
The game is provided free and as it is, without any promise that it will be available, fault-free or fit for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it, including lost progress or data. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top moves when we do, and a change that matters will be announced in the game or on our Discord. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also bring proceedings in the courts where you live.
